‘Biden Did Nothing’: VP JD Vance Deflects on Epstein Files as White House Meeting Fuels ‘Transparency’ Demands

Vance denies discussing Epstein in a closed-door White House meeting, but critics say the deflection raises more questions than it answers.

Vice President JD Vance is under growing pressure after a Fox News interview where he attempted to shift criticism over the Trump administration’s refusal to release Jeffrey Epstein’s files. Instead of defusing the backlash, his remarks have only intensified demands online for the documents to be unsealed and for greater transparency from the White House.

The controversy erupted just days after reports revealed that Vance attended a closed-door White House meeting with Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel to discuss the fallout from the Epstein scandal.

Vance later confirmed the meeting took place but insisted Epstein was never part of the conversation, a denial that has been met with skepticism and accusations of political spin.

During his Fox appearance, Vance placed the blame on Democrats, accusing President Joe Biden of ignoring the Epstein case throughout his term. “President Trump has demanded full transparency on this.

Yet somehow Democrats are attacking him while ignoring the fact that Biden did absolutely nothing for four years,” Vance said.

He also repeated discredited claims linking Epstein to top Democrats, focusing in particular on former President Bill Clinton. Vance alleged that “left-wing politicians and billionaires” regularly visited Epstein’s island, echoing Trump’s long-standing assertion that Clinton traveled there many times.

Clinton has acknowledged taking flights on Epstein’s private jet but has consistently denied ever setting foot on the island.

The vice president escalated tensions further by suggesting that indictments may be imminent. His comments mirrored Trump’s renewed accusations against former President Barack Obama, whom Trump has accused of “treason” over what he claims was a conspiracy tied to the Russia investigation.

Reports suggest Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has provided documents to the Justice Department in support of Trump’s claims, though Obama has dismissed the allegations as baseless.

The fallout underscores the turbulence of Trump’s second term, already defined by health concerns, mounting scandals, and policy battles. With Epstein’s name back in the spotlight, the administration now faces yet another wave of controversy that threatens to deepen divisions and fuel further political unrest.
