Protesters storm Trump’s D.C. dinner, chanting ‘Fuck You, Hitler,’ sparking chaos outside the restaurant.

Protesters outside a Washington, D.C. restaurant were heard shouting “F–k you, Trump” as President Donald Trump arrived for dinner. Despite the disruption, Trump briefly stopped to address reporters, using the moment to highlight his recent efforts to combat crime in the city by deploying federal agents and National Guard troops.

Trump, who rarely dines outside the White House when in Washington, made his way to Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab on 15th Street. His visit came amid his ongoing push to showcase the deployment of federal authorities as part of a crackdown on crime in the capital.

For weeks, Trump has boasted about mobilizing both federal law enforcement and the military, claiming these efforts have turned Washington into a “safe zone.” During his remarks outside the restaurant, he also hinted at plans to deploy National Guard troops to another major American city soon.

“We’re going to be announcing another city very shortly,” Trump told reporters, without naming the location. He said the mayor of that city and the state governor “would love us to be there,” signaling local support. Trump added the announcement could come as early as Wednesday.

Turning to foreign affairs, Trump addressed Israel’s recent attack on Hamas officials in Qatar. “I’m not thrilled about it,” he said, describing the situation as “not a good situation.” He revealed he had not been informed in advance of the attack.

“I’ll be giving a full statement tomorrow,” Trump said. “But I will tell you this: I was very unhappy about it. Very unhappy about every aspect.”

Trump had been scheduled to sign a presidential proclamation in the Oval Office Tuesday evening but appeared to postpone the event in favor of going out to dinner. His arrival at the restaurant was more than three hours late, fueling speculation about his health.

The protest outside the restaurant underscored the polarized climate surrounding Trump, with demonstrators interrupting his visit by voicing strong opposition. Security personnel quickly intervened to remove the protesters and restore order.

Trump’s public appearances have increasingly drawn attention amid concerns about his health and political strategy. His decision to spotlight the deployment of federal agents and National Guard troops reflects his ongoing focus on law and order, a key theme of his political messaging.

The president has repeatedly emphasized his role in tackling crime in major cities, often framing federal intervention as necessary to restore safety and stability. His announcement about a forthcoming deployment to another city is expected to keep this issue front and center in public discussions.

Despite the controversy, Trump’s visit to the restaurant served as a platform to reinforce his law enforcement initiatives and address ongoing international developments. The contrast between the heated protest outside and his calm engagement with reporters inside highlights the deep divisions that continue to characterize his public life.

For now, the nation waits for Trump’s promised full statement on the Israel-Hamas conflict, and the anticipated announcement of the next city to receive National Guard support.
