A new video shared by activist James O’Keefe has reignited controversy around Jeffrey Epstein, claiming the late financier worked with the CIA and Israeli intelligence. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has now issued a strong denial.

The claims were made by a man who said he worked as a senior official in the DOJ. In the video, he says Epstein was a U.S. and Israeli asset who was protected from prosecution.

“They didn’t want to go after him because he’s an asset for the United States and Israel,” the man said. “It’s soon to come out that he was a CIA informant.”

James O’Keefe, founder of the group Project Veritas, published the clip online. The video quickly gained attention due to its shocking statements about Epstein’s ties and past investigations.

The man also spoke about former President Bill Clinton, saying rapes happened when Clinton was present on Epstein’s plane. He made clear that Trump, in his view, was not involved in any abuse.

“He’s protecting a lot of other people… He’s not protecting himself, because there’s nothing there,” he said. “I’ve interviewed all the victims. There’s never been an instance where Trump was on a plane with these kids when the rapes occurred.”

“But that can’t be said for Clinton,” he added, suggesting others were present during alleged crimes.

In response, the DOJ issued a statement to O’Keefe, discrediting the man in the video. The agency said the person worked as a program analyst over fifteen years ago and has no inside knowledge.

“This individual worked at the Department of Justice as a program analyst over fifteen years ago,” the DOJ stated. “He has no understanding of, or access to, the underlying facts in this investigation.”

The DOJ also criticized the video’s content and its impact on victims of abuse. “It is disgusting that someone would further exploit victims of sexual abuse by fabricating stories for their personal benefit,” the statement continued.

This is the second time in recent weeks that O’Keefe has released claims tied to the Epstein case. In a previous video, an acting deputy chief at the DOJ was secretly recorded speaking about the Epstein files.

That official reportedly said names of conservatives would be removed from the records, while names of liberals and Democrats would remain. After the video surfaced, the DOJ reached out to the official involved.

The person later clarified, “The comments I made were my own personal comments on what I’ve learned in the media and not from anything I’ve done at or learned via work.”

The Trump administration has faced sharp criticism over its handling of the Epstein files. Some critics say it has not released enough information about past links between Trump and Epstein.

Others say political bias may be influencing how the records are handled or redacted. The DOJ has not confirmed or denied the timeline for further disclosures.

As the fallout continues, questions remain about the extent of Epstein’s connections with global intelligence networks. However, the DOJ has made it clear that the recent claims are not based on official facts.

Despite the DOJ’s pushback, the video continues to spread online. It has sparked new debates over media trust, transparency, and the legacy of the Epstein case.

The man featured in the video has not been publicly identified. No evidence has been shared to support his claims of being a senior official or having direct access to the Epstein files.

For now, the DOJ stands firm in rejecting the statements made in the clip. Officials are urging the public not to believe claims that have no verified sources.

The Epstein case remains one of the most controversial investigations in recent U.S. history. With many names still redacted, the search for truth continues in public and political circles alike.
