A senior investigator from the Justice Department, who says he has interviewed victims in the Jeffrey Epstein case, was caught on camera making a surprising claim. He said that President Donald Trump is protecting other people connected to the case files.
The hidden-camera video was released on Wednesday by James O’Keefe. O’Keefe is known for his work with Project Veritas and has a reputation as a MAGA provocateur. His group has faced accusations in the past of releasing videos that were edited in a misleading way.
The Department of Justice should be about justice.
Tomorrow, let’s break the internet.

The video seems to show Glenn Prager, a longtime federal official, making some explosive statements during a flight from Phoenix to Washington, D.C. earlier this month. He was secretly recorded by a reporter working for James O’Keefe, who himself was recently pushed out of Project Veritas after internal conflicts within the MAGA movement.
Prager’s LinkedIn profile says he has over 25 years of experience in government oversight, investigations, and ensuring program integrity. He has worked for the U.S. Department of Justice and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services.
According to his profile, while at the DOJ, Prager served as an Inspector. He was responsible for overseeing sensitive investigations involving major agencies such as the FBI, DEA, Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Marshals Service, ATF, and the U.S. Attorney’s Offices.
In the video, Prager claims he has examined Epstein’s travel records and interviewed all the victims. He says none of them have accused Trump of being involved in Epstein’s crimes.
“I’ve interviewed all the victims,” Prager says. “There’s never been a case where Trump was on a plane with these kids when the assaults happened.”
“People try to link this to Trump and accuse him of covering up for himself, but that’s not true,” he added.
Still, Prager believes the president is clearly protecting many people. He thinks Trump is trying to distract his MAGA supporters from the Epstein files, even though he promised to release those files during his campaign for re-election.
“I don’t see anything new in the files that I haven’t already seen,” Prager said. “He’s very reluctant to share what’s really going on with the release of these documents. It feels like he’s protecting a lot of other people.”
Trump has maintained that he was never close friends with Epstein, who died by suicide in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019. He has repeatedly said that he distanced himself from Epstein after the financier was registered as a sex offender in 2008, following his guilty plea to soliciting prostitution from a minor.
Trump has also frequently called the whole Epstein scandal a “hoax.” He argues that if there was any damaging information in the files, Democrats would have exposed it long ago.

Prager takes issue with how Trump describes the whole scandal. “Come on,” he said. “You know it’s not a hoax. Trump says a lot of dumb things. He has been on Epstein’s plane many times. The difference is, he was never on the plane with the kids.”
Prager says the situation is very different when it comes to former President Bill Clinton.
“Bill Clinton was on Epstein’s plane when assaults happened,” Prager explained. “That’s where the real cover-up took place.”

Prager also said that it will soon come out that Epstein “was a CIA informant.”
When asked for comment, the White House directed the Daily Beast to the Department of Justice. The DOJ did not immediately reply to the request.
However, a DOJ spokesperson told O’Keefe that Prager “worked at the Department of Justice as a program analyst more than 15 years ago. He has no knowledge of or access to the details of this investigation. His statements should not be taken as accurate. It is appalling that someone would exploit victims of sexual abuse by making up stories for personal gain.”
The same message was shared again by a DOJ spokesperson in a post on X.
Regarding James O’Keefe’s latest “BOMBSHELL”:
As the Department has made clear, this individual left government service more than 15 years ago in a brief junior role. He has no knowledge of or access to this investigation, and his assertions are baseless.

O’Keefe’s video quickly went viral, gathering over 4 million views on X within just six hours. The footage sparked reactions from several public officials.
Republican Representative Thomas Massie shared a post on X, saying, “Senior DOJ Investigator who says he interviewed victims for the government’s Epstein case spills the beans on a hidden camera.”
