On one April night, Trump shared 18 posts between midnight and 2:45 a.m., all of them targeting critics. Some posts featured deeply unusual images alongside the political attacks. One showed him riding on horseback beside George Washington. Others included Chinese President Xi Jinping, mixed in with plans for a new presidential ballroom and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool renovation.
The Reflecting Pool project has become one of Trump’s most talked-about obsessions in recent weeks. He shared an AI-generated video of himself standing at the Lincoln Memorial, where the iconic pool has been painted a deep “American Flag Blue” at his direct orders. Historians and Washington D.C. locals have pushed back hard, saying the renovation is erasing history rather than honoring it. The project, originally promised at just $1.8 million, has now reportedly ballooned to a staggering $13.1 million.
Trump has also been absolutely losing it on Democrats over criticism of his latest physical and the ongoing war with Iran. Shortly after 10 p.m. on May 31, he launched another late-night tirade, going after Democrats and what he called “unpatriotic” Republicans in a rapid series of posts. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment, or MoCA, is a 10-minute screening tool specifically designed to detect early signs of cognitive impairment and dementia. It does not measure intelligence in any form. A perfect score simply means the test found no red flags for cognitive decline, nothing more.
After the posting spree went viral and lit up television news, the White House sent out spokesperson Olivia Wade to explain it all. Her statement was supposed to calm things down. Instead, it made the situation considerably more embarrassing for everyone involved.
