The White House is in turmoil after a previously unseen birthday letter from President Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein came to light. The letter, reportedly written for Trump’s 50th birthday in 2003, appears to include a signature that matches the president’s own.

On Monday, the Wall Street Journal published an image of the letter, which had been handed over to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee by lawyers representing Epstein’s estate. Decades later, the document has reignited questions about the nature of Trump’s relationship with Epstein.

Until now, the Trump administration had insisted the letter did not exist. Officials repeatedly denied claims that Trump had sent any lewd birthday message to Epstein. But with the letter now public, the White House finds itself scrambling to defend the president’s record.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded on X, calling the story false. “The latest piece published by the Wall Street Journal PROVES this entire ‘Birthday Card’ story is false,” she wrote. She also insisted that Trump neither drew the image nor signed the letter, and added that his legal team would continue to pursue the matter aggressively.

Leavitt focused her response more on the reporting process than the content of the letter itself. She criticized journalist Joe Palazzolo, claiming he only requested a comment when the story was set to publish, rather than disputing any specific details in the article.

The letter also drew reactions from politicians outside the White House. California Governor Gavin Newsom highlighted Vice President JD Vance’s remarks from July, when the letter first became a story. At that time, Vance dismissed the report as “complete and utter bullshit,” questioning its credibility.

“Where is this letter?” Vance had asked. “Would you be shocked to learn they never showed it to us before publishing it? Does anyone honestly believe this sounds like Donald Trump?” His comments suggested skepticism about both the reporting and the letter’s authenticity.

On Monday, Newsom called attention to the irony of Vance’s earlier remarks. “This aged nicely,” he wrote on X, pointing out the contrast between Vance’s dismissal and the letter’s public release. His post quickly circulated online, adding to the buzz around the story.

The letter has reignited discussions about Trump’s ties to Epstein, a convicted sex offender. The resurfacing of this correspondence comes at a politically sensitive moment and is expected to attract even more media scrutiny. Analysts say how the White House responds in the coming days could influence public perception, particularly among voters already critical of Trump’s past connections.

As the situation develops, legal experts anticipate possible follow-ups from Congress. With the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee now having access to the letter, its contents could play a role in broader inquiries into the relationships between Trump, Epstein, and others in his orbit.

For now, the White House is under intense scrutiny, working to shape the narrative while the letter continues circulating publicly. Observers note that how the administration handles this controversy could have lasting political implications as the nation watches closely.

America always slow walks matters of truth and integrity. By the time the self-imposed fog clears, the appetite for punitive consequences has waned, and that’s what they’re betting on.

Until MAGA stops perceiving Donald Trump as sent by god, I guess we’re stuck with him. I am waiting for the solid evidence that Melania was Epstein’s girlfriend until she got aged out.
