On Monday, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee highlighted a troubling page from Jeffrey Epstein’s 2003 “birthday book.” The handwritten entry includes a joke about Epstein allegedly selling a woman to former President Donald Trump.
The caption reads, “Jeffrey showing early talents with money + women! Sells ‘fully depreciated’ [name redacted] to Donald Trump for $22,500.” A photo accompanies the text, showing Epstein with longtime Mar-a-Lago member Joel Pashcow holding a large “check.”
It continues, “Showed early ‘people skills’ too. Even though I handled the deal I didn’t get any of the money on the girl.” Two faces in the image and the woman’s name on the check are redacted. While the check shows a “DJ Trump” signature, handwriting experts say it does not match the president’s known signature on official documents.
The joke appears to reference a woman whom Trump and Epstein reportedly socialized with during the 1990s, according to sources told The Wall Street Journal.
The page emerged as Trump continued to downplay his connection to Epstein and criticized the government’s handling of documents related to the late convicted sex offender. He dismissed the bipartisan effort to release all of Epstein’s files as a “Democrat hoax.”

Oversight Democrats shared the page on Twitter with the caption, “NEW PAGE FROM EPSTEIN’S BIRTHDAY BOOK: Epstein and a longtime Mar-a-Lago member joking about selling a ‘fully depreciated’ woman to Donald Trump for $22,500.”
Pashcow and his lawyer did not respond to requests for comment. A lawyer representing the woman said she had no knowledge of the letter and no connection to Pashcow. The lawyer described the page as a “disgusting and deeply disturbing hoax.”
The release came alongside a broader set of documents from Epstein’s estate, which appears to include the entire birthday book. The material also shows what is claimed to be Trump’s alleged birthday message to Epstein, drawn inside a crude outline of a woman. Trump has denied writing the message.
The White House insists the letter is fake, pointing to the signature as evidence. However, social media users, including George Conway, have pointed out that Trump has previously used a similar “Donald” signature in other contexts.

These documents add to growing scrutiny of Epstein’s network and the people connected to him. Lawmakers and advocacy groups say the records could shed new light on the social circles that surrounded the convicted sex offender and the extent of his influence.
Experts also warn that the release of these materials could spark legal battles and complicate investigations. Even as the documents circulate publicly, many questions about the relationships and alleged behavior of Epstein and his associates remain unanswered, according to HuffPost.
